This sweet-savory coleslaw with a bite of wasabi is as colorful as it is delicious. The dressing is also awesome on green salads or used as a marinade for pork or chicken.
Wasabi Honey Coleslaw

Ingredients
- 4 cups red cabbage, shredded
- 2 cups carrots, shredded
- 4 green oinions, both green and white parts,
- finely sliced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- DRESSING
- ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp wasabi powder
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds
Directions
- Step 1
- n a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, green onions, jalapeño and parsley.
- Step 2
- In a small bowl, whisk the vinegar, wasabi powder, white pepper, mustard, mayonnaise, lime juice and honey.
- Step 3
- Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss lightly until well-blended. Serve immediately or cover and chill in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
- Step 4
- Garnish with a light sprinkle of black and white sesame seeds and serve.
