Wasabi Honey Coleslaw

This sweet-savory coleslaw with a bite of wasabi is as colorful as it is delicious. The dressing is also awesome on green salads or used as a marinade for pork or chicken.

Wasabi Honey Coleslaw

Ingredients
  • 4 cups red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups carrots, shredded
  • 4 green oinions, both green and white parts,
  • finely sliced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • DRESSING
  • ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp wasabi powder
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds
Directions
Step 1
n a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, green onions, jalapeño and parsley.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk the vinegar, wasabi powder, white pepper, mustard, mayonnaise, lime juice and honey.
Step 3
Pour dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss lightly until well-blended. Serve immediately or cover and chill in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
Step 4
Garnish with a light sprinkle of black and white sesame seeds and serve.
